Terms of service

Last updated 22 September 2026

These terms apply when you use the TopShott apps and website. By creating an account or using TopShott you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You need an account to register teams, score matches, join clubs, post or go live. Give accurate details, keep your login private and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Organizers, clubs and facilities

Tournaments, clubs and facilities on TopShott are run by the people who create them, not by TopShott. They set their own rules, schedules, eligibility and any fees, and they are responsible for running their events safely. Any payment for a tournament entry, club dues or a court booking is an arrangement between you and that organizer, club or facility, including refunds. TopShott provides the tools and is not a party to those arrangements.

Playing and scoring

Scores are entered by referees and organizers, and standings, badges and levels are worked out from them. Organizers decide disputes about results. Misusing the scoring tools, for example entering false results, can get you removed from an event or from TopShott.

Content and behaviour

You are responsible for what you post, stream or send, including chat messages, community posts, photos and live video. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or stream anything that is:

  • harassing, bullying, threatening or hateful;
  • sexually explicit, violent or graphic;
  • illegal, fraudulent or infringing someone else's rights, including broadcasting an event you do not have permission to stream;
  • spam, scams or misleading; or
  • anything that puts another person's safety or privacy at risk.

You can block any user and report a problem from inside the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours, which can include removing the content and suspending or removing the account that posted it.

You keep ownership of what you share. You give TopShott a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show and distribute it inside TopShott for the events, teams and clubs it belongs to, for as long as it stays on the service.

Live streaming

Only stream games you are allowed to film, and respect the players and venue. Organizers and club admins can end streams on their events. Recordings may be kept so people can watch them later.

Our service

We work to keep TopShott running and accurate, but it is provided as is and may change, be interrupted or have mistakes. To the extent the law allows, TopShott is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries, disputes or losses that arise from events organized through the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use TopShott means you accept the new terms.

Apple

If you use TopShott on an Apple device, these terms are between you and TopShott, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms who may enforce them against you.
